Spark

A simple premise: a spark. This was the motto for this project developed in close collaboration with the atelier João Tiago Aguiar, arquitectos.
The translucency of the Estremoz Marble luminaire, made up of a suspended tubular, is obtained with the use of a structure specifically designed to cancel out any shadow projection, and simultaneously emphasise the curvature that characterises it. When switched off, it appears as a quasi-sculptural element. When switched on, it enhances all the beauty of the natural stone and projects a downwards functional light for the dining table.
